Shipping & Delivery

Imamura Tea Plantation LLC ("we" / "us") offers the following shipping methods and rates for our online store.

■ Shipping Rates (within Japan)

・Mail delivery (post): ¥500 (tax incl.)

*We cannot guarantee against loss or damage after mail delivery.
*Depending on order quantity, weight, or size, mail delivery may not be available.

・Standard delivery (Sagawa Express): ¥880 (tax incl.)

・Remote area surcharge (Hokkaido / Okinawa): ¥1,500 (tax incl.)

Orders totaling ¥5,000 (tax incl.) or more qualify for free domestic shipping.

*B2B and wholesale transactions are not eligible for free shipping.

■ Shipping Method

Orders are shipped using the method selected at checkout. However, even if mail delivery is selected, we may switch to standard delivery depending on the order (quantity, weight, size). In that case, we will contact you in advance.

■ Dispatch

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days after the order is confirmed (payment verified).

■ Delivery Time

After dispatch, delivery within Japan typically takes 2–3 days. Remote islands and certain areas may take 3–4 days.

Please note that delivery may be delayed due to natural disasters, traffic conditions, large-scale events, and similar circumstances.

■ Delivery Date & Time

As a rule, we do not accept requests to specify the delivery date or time slot.

■ Packaging

We take great care to prevent scratches or dents to the outer box when packing. However, scratches or dents may occur in transit after handover to the carrier. We ask for your understanding regarding scratches or dents to the outer box that do not affect the product itself.

■ International Shipping

We ship to the following 13 countries and regions:

Taiwan / Hong Kong / Singapore / Malaysia / Australia / New Zealand / Canada / United States / Germany / France / Spain / Switzerland / Poland

・Shipping method: EMS (Express Mail Service) by Japan Post, with tracking. Orders to the United States of ¥14,000 or more are delivered by UPS (express courier).

・Shipping rates: calculated automatically by total order weight and shown at checkout. Orders of ¥15,000 or more ship free (excluding the United States).

・Dispatch: within 1–2 business days after order confirmation. Estimated delivery: Taiwan & Hong Kong 2–5 business days; Singapore & Malaysia 3–6 business days; Europe, Oceania, Canada and the United States 4–8 business days (UPS: 2–5 business days).

・Customs duties & import taxes: duties, VAT/GST and other import charges levied in the destination country are not included in product prices or shipping fees, and are payable by the customer upon receipt. For US-bound EMS orders (under ¥14,000), we handle the required customs procedures (including FDA Prior Notice) and your parcel arrives with no extra charges.

・If you are traveling in Japan, we can also deliver to your hotel (domestic shipping rates apply).

*International B2B and wholesale transactions are not covered by the rates or free-shipping threshold above. Shipping methods and costs for B2B are quoted separately.
